My name is Paula D and I am a compassionate and experienced home carer with a passion for helping others. With a focus on Live-in and Overnight care, I have dedicated my career to providing support and companionship to those in need. I have a diverse range of skills and experience, including caring for individuals with Mild Cognitive Impairment, being bedbound, Parkinson's Disease, anxiety, and depression.
Although I may not be able to drive or have a car, I am highly skilled in various aspects of care. Bathing, toileting, assistance with dressing, and catheter care are just a few of the tasks that I am proficient in. I understand the importance of companionship and ensuring a person's well-being extends beyond physical care. I am always ready to lend an ear and offer emotional support.
In my spare time, I enjoy cooking and baking, solving puzzles, reading, and watching TV. Music has always brought joy to my life and I believe it can be a wonderful tool for relaxation and stimulation. I also have a soft spot for cats and fish.
Above all, my motivation for being a carer stems from my desire to help people lead independent lives. I am caring, friendly, and always ready to lend a helping hand. I find great fulfillment in making a positive impact on the lives of those I care for.
